This baby is gone during the day but curls up every night in the corner of a well lit awning over my back door. I haven't seen his face or feet. He is covered edit spotted down and has a few straight brownish tail feathers. I believe he fell out of the nest but is being cared for by a parent. We have chimney swifts, mourning doves, crows, owls and red tailed hawks in this neighborhood (we are very close to an suburban natural area). Any help with identification would be much appreciated!
