today at my feeder I am seeing a pair of large 7 to 8 inches long with black and white stripes/checker board wings and breast. This bird has a long black narrow beak. I thought a starling when I first saw it but same size just black/brown white . I live in northern Indiana

think they might be Jays [checker board wing markings] but open to offers adios from espania
