Pair in Endicott, NY

I live in a village where the houses are close together and just this morning, I saw my first pair of pileated woodpeckers on the telephone pole in front of my house. I was stunned. Their size and markings make them very impressive to see! I am hoping they return and I will put out a suet feeder to encourage them!
