Orange Bird In My Back Yard

by Jennifer
(Mer Rouge, Louisiana)

I live on a lake full of cypress trees with Spanish moss. In recent years and today, I have seen orange birds in the trees in the lake (usually at the base of the tree by the water). These birds are a sparrow size perching type bird. Yellowish orange in color except for the wings which look to be grey or tan. Thought it was an Oriole, but I have not seen any black on him.
