Tiny delicate bright blue bird with black feet. smaller and more slender than a bluebird and almost iridescent solid blue.

(I believe you have an Indigo Bunting. A Picture would help-,but from your description, I am almost sure. They are beautiful little birds an will stay all summer if you feed them. They love black oil sunflower seed.
