I finally got a good short video of northern cardinals getting whole peanuts. This spring I watched a female cardinal sitting back nearby the whole peanuts that I had placed out for the squirrels and blue jays, just watching these creatures taking peanuts. Then one day I saw her take a whole peanut. So I have been working on getting here to take whole peanuts . This weekend she and her spouse started taking them at a steady rate. I was fortune to get a good little video on the cardinals taking these peanuts.
