No matter rain wind or heat 7-22-2012

We have doves nesting right now. I noticed about 2 days ago (7-20-2012) The top of a tree that grows beside our patio was trimmed back because of a rats nest. It was only a day or two before I noticed a dove. She, I like to call it a she, my husband calls it him, was just sitting in an Orchid we have in the tree. I thought it was cool so took a picture to send to my husband at work. When he got home (5 hours later) I had a feeling it was still there. And it was and still is two days later. Im not sure if the Dove is taking turns with another Dove but it has not moved. There is a visable nest and it very cool. Today we had a terible storm when I was at work and I could not wait to come home to see if the birds were still protecting their eggs. And they were. The wind was so bad my husband took down our wind chimes but the Dove held it ground. We can't wait to see what happens. I wish I was better with computers and stuff so I could share pictures but I not. Sorry
