Just a few days ago 2 mourning doves started making regular visits but would not eat from the feeders but looked under the feeders for food.

I started sprinkling it on the bare ground and they have been coing back regularly since. I'm a new birdwatcher, starting out with finches.

Since I had never seen these birds I had no idea what they were at first.

You never know what you will attract til you start putting out different kids of food.

I'm using Scotts "Songbird seed"
