My indoor cat perches are set up to watch the feeders.....today I glimpsed a bird with a different sort of beak...beautiful rose colored "bib" and white spots in its wings....research proved it to be a Rose Breasted Grosbeak
He joined the cardinals and indigo buntings at the sunflower seed feeder and on the ground underneath. He once attempted to "bully" a male cardinal away from his area.
Such a treat to see this beautiful bird here in Arkansas..I will watch for the female.
