I keep seeing some house sparrows checking out our bird house. Once it was two males, and then a male and a female. The male sits on top of the house and chirps a ton! What does this mean?

Hi Hayley! While I don't speak 'bird, my guess is that your sparrow is singing his heart out to impress his mate. After all it is approaching that time of year....spring courtship! I am hearing more birds chirping and singing now in search of mates in my backyard.
