Nesting Northern Flickers

by Karen
(Grand Rapids, Michigan)

I have a pair of Northern Flickers making a nest in my tree that is next to my house and right over my patio.

I live across the street from a school so there is a lot of traffic. Does anybody know it they will stay? I sure hope that they do.

If they have built a nest, then they're staying!
