Mystery Bird

by Katy Scott
(Lake Forest Park, Washington)

This bird is in my yard and is up at dawn and I can only hear it. It calls every 20 to 40 seconds with a single pitch whistle. I cannot see it. Can anyone tell me what it is?

Take a look at my post at http://www.a-home-for-wild-birds.com/mystery-bird-call-solved.html
