Pileated Woodpecker eating an Ash berry. First time visitor on Nov. 8th.

A few days ago I saw for the first time a Pileated Woodpecker in our Ash tree eating the berries. It was so big and amazing to watch! I agree with Darlene from Wisconsin that they almost look pre-historic. I keep my camera handy by the window so I was able to get a couple photos before it flew off.
