My first grosbeaks

Been feeding birds for years and this weekend (5/1) saw a rose breasted AND an evening grosbeak. Very exciting!

These must be out of ordinary beautiful birds, so many people report either their first sightings or the first sightings of the year. I'm glad you had the visitor, we don't have the Rose-breasted pass through in the Pacific Northwest but we do have the black-headed and evening grosbeaks that stay through the summer and fall.
