Mutant gull goose?

Spotted swimming in Spring Valley Lake (Mojave Desert, Southern California). Looks similar to a seagull, only larger (roughly the size of a goose) and with a turkey-esque face.

It's a Muscovy duck. They are a common domestic breed of duck.
