Mourning doves in love!

Spotted these two this evening in my backyard! Sorry about the quality of the photo but they were high up in a tree!

Mr dove really is an incessant love maker, as he slowly sings his coo-o-o, ah coo-o-o-o-ooo-o-o, in a sweetly sad voice.

When it comes to Mrs Dove, there is no more contented bird in the wild. She really is a slack, incompetent housekeeper, as she builds such an untidy nest, but apparently her lover is blind to every fault.
