Not much to say except it is the first time sighting this type of bird. Looks identical to the Northern Flicker. Black chest with black spots around body, and a red head, long beak, bigger then a robin. Its eating off the ground, seems to pick the same spot and works on it for a while. Seems to be around feeding times, perhaps going back to a nest? Have no pictures as yet.
