Mini Roadrunner

The bird was a beautiful white, gray and black just walking very quick and precise. It saw the fence ahead and flew into the next yard and started the walk/run. I've never seen a bird like this in Connecticut.

Hi Diane,

I'm afraid you haven't given us enough info to ID your bird, did it look like a roadrunner? Can you tell us how big it was compared to a robin, did it have a crest (point)on it's head? Can you possibly tell us what family it might be in, ie...quail, or a perching bird like a robin? Hopefully you will see it again and get a closer look or maybe even a picture.
