Male Rose-Breasted Grosbeak

by Kyndra Brown
(Jeffersonville Indiana)

I had my first male grosbeak 4 days ago. And now I have two that visit my feeders several times throughout the day! They seem to LOVE this fruit and nut mix! I have five feeders on this feeding station, all with different types of bird food, but the grosbeak always go straight to this tray of fruit and nut mix. I think they are just migrating through, but each day I see them gives me more hope that they may stay awhile. Either way, I'm enjoying their company here in Jeffersonville Indiana!
