Brown speckled bird a bit smaller than a Redwing or Brewers blackbird. Considerably larger than a sparrow. Most dominant feature was its long straight beak which was a yellow orange. I'm in NH & have never seen this bird @ my backyard bird feeders. If it's any help it appeared right around the same time I saw a red breasted & black headed grosbeak that also have never been at my feeders but were easily identified. Tried to grab photo but it did not stick around long enough & hasn't returned. Its been about 4 days now. Grosbeaks have not returned either (yet)!
