long beaked bird in distress

by Donna

I saw a bird chubby like a dove it was brown in color had some dark spots and the longest beak I have ever seen on a small bird. He was down facing the window I could tell he was in some kind of distress we reached slowly and it jumped up sprouted his back feathers like a turkey, sort of like a pheasant would do, strutted then pooped big time, took off and flew into the glass. We both agreed he had already flown into the glass before we walked by and this time it was to late.My phone can't send pictures I have been wondering about the little bird with the big beak. Thank you.
