Linda in AZ

I saw a very tiny bird. Very round with an owl like face brightly colored yellow head and face with a grey/green body only about 2 1/2 to 3 inches tall. It is nesting in the cactus next to our yard. The cactus looks a little like an organ pipe but is not native to the area and is next to a huge saguaro. This little bird nests there in January. It has the sweetest voice and is very friendly until I reached for the camera. It spent the entire day teasing my kitties through the window. Any idea where I should look for this bird in the bird books. This is the second year I have seen it in the same location about the same time.
