large aqua colored eggs

This is a question about bird eggs. We live in St. Petersburg, FL about three blocks from the bay. My daughter and I walk to her school in the morning. Tuesday, 5/2/12, we found a chicken sized egg under a pine tree. Remnants of a just hatched chick (streaks of blood) were inside. The egg was aqua/blue colored. We took it to her school but no one could identify it. The next day we were walking to school again and found another one, same place, same type egg.

Any ideas what bird this could be?
Thanks,
Derry Smith
