Size of a cat. Fawny colour with brown stripes, hooked beak. Fan tail. It had large blackbird in its talons, which it was pummelling with both talons on our path. It cloaked the blackbird with its wings outstretched then shut them on and off! It was much bigger than a kestrel, thought it was an eagle at first!

I have got photos, but doesn't do it justice as too far away. Sorry, cannot upload photo or video, tried, but I'm not much good at transferring things.

    Tourquoise bird, cardinal size and similar wing pattern and has a beige beak. Except for the beak color, looks like a Indigo Bunting. Is this a juvie??
