tiny bird, sharp beak, greenish front, yellow eyebrow, pale underside, short square grey-brown tail. Bonked into window, but apparently recovered; looks bright-eyed, wings appear fine, but no ambition. Won't go.

thank you! I'll look up vireos. After a night in a cage in a warm house the little one was feisty and ready to resume its life.

hI, I was hoping someone who could identify your little bird for sure would answer. Look up Vireos or possibly a Flycatcher. This time of year is more difficult to tell if you aren't familiar with the area because birds are migrating south and they stop off along the way for rest so this little one may not even live in the area. I believe it is a Vireo of some sort,
