Joseph the Gardener

I saw another owl last night. Owl sighting 1:10am Thursday, at 7300 Central Avenue St. Petersburg, Florida 33707. It is located here in a city garden, zone 10a, or 9b, It was a small , baby Eastern Screech owl perched on a garbage can 10-15 feet from my room. The area here is much like a suburban type city with lots of concrete, I let my property get almost overgrown with Florida flora and fauna. I just went outside at 10min after 1 am, just now to check on a noise, with my flashlight I saw the cutest little baby owl perched on a garbage can next to the compost pile, I walked by, like 3 feet away , then walked back to my door and as I turned he looked right at me, and flew away, in super silent mode. This is like my 3rd owl sighting, maybe 4th in the last 6months... Awesome.
