Is this birdie a kind of sparrow?

Glad I could help Telma!

They really are cure birds but they are so common in most of America that we forget LOL

During the summer it is not uncommon for there to be more than a dozen at a time in my backyard. They really are fun to watch.

    Small dusky or dark gray bird, 3 to 4 inches, with a fan shaped tail. The tail had 2 yellow triangle markings, which were about 3/4 to 1 inch each.
