Is this bird a visitor to Dorset?

by Anita
(Dorset, UK)

I live in Dorset. This morning I saw a bird that at first I took to be a robin. Upon looking closely i could see that the chest was a paler orangey colour and the bird had a black stripe through the eye. When it took off I could clearly see white tail feathers. Could you please help me to identify this lovely bird, thank you.
