Staying longer
by: cher

The red breasted grosebeak come early May but hang out longer each year this year we had six in our backyard. They seem to like black oiled sunflower seeds and are eating like crazy. I've also seen a female but only one. I also put out a mix of fruit and nuts in a flat dish feeder and they also like this.So I guess the difference in food is what is keeping them around.
