In the Early Morning

I was sitting down at breakfast when my dad said look at this bird. We're bird lovers so we always keep an eye out. We saw the bird but had no idea what the bird was so I went to go get my bird book to see what it was.

I went through the pages as fast as I could to find it. I soon found it . It was a Northern Flicker such a beautiful bird it was. We tried to find the camera so we could have a picture.

We found the camera and tried to take a picture but the screen on our window would not let us do so and it flew away.
