Identify bird...Killeen Texas

by Kendra L
(Killeen, TX)

Identify me Please

Identify me Please

Bird found in our backyard and was playing with our dog. Didn't want it to get eaten(too young to fly?) so I put it in the tree and left it alone for an hour or so. It never moved from the spot I put it. So I brought it inside so it wouldnt get eaten by a cat or snake. Can you help me identify what kind it is? Please. I am going to bring it back outside in the morning and see if it will go to the nest then.

The baby you found is a White Winged Dove. They are the big doves you see everywhere here in Killeen.
