Hummingbirds: Nature's Little Therapists

(San Diego, CA)

I'm a therapist (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in Southern California. I help those under severe stress and life threatening circumstances. Nature has shown me that hummingbirds are my little therapists. When they arrive around my apartment complex, I am transfixed and peaceful.

I would like to attract them to my balcony (second story apartment). Can you suggest both a feeder and birdbath (for hummingbirds and other local birds) that I can hang from the patio ceiling beam. If better, I have some space (about 2x2') for standing birdbath, if needed, but hanging one would maximize the airspace that is not otherwise used and I may commit to some flower baskets.

Thank you!
