Help!!! Please identify him

He was being attacked by another bird so i rescued him and called all kinds of animal shelters and the wildlife forestry but they all said that there was nothing that they could do for him. And i want to know what kinda bird he is

He looks like an European Starling. Nature can seem cruel at times, but it's plan seems to work.

It does look like a Starling or a Crackle. When I was little I found a baby one in my sand box, and me and my mom raised it until it was grown and then set it free! I will always remember Lucky... I hope things turn out good for the birdie! Your awesome for saving it!
