Help me identify this 'FUNNY' bird!!

by Molly Griesemer

I am clueless when it comes to identifying birds, but I am curious to know what bird has been singing in my yard!! I usually hear him early in the morning, but he is so loud and funny...I stop every time to listen and can't help but chuckle. It sounds like a 4 syllable whistle from high to low...then it repeats itself...and ends with a cute sound..almost like he's super happy, but hasn't quite perfected it yet! I whistled back once and waited, but only saw a small bird fly away. Thanks for your help!! Oh, I live in South Miami

It's a spot- breasted oriole...one of the best whistlers...or they sound human! Messenger of happiness
