Grosbeak by Regina Sask

We saw our first grosbeak yesterday... we live in a prairie area but our yard is heavily treed.

Lucky you! They don't visit us in British Columbia.

We have a pair of rose-breasted grosbeaks frequenting our feeders right now. Sometimes they stay around for a bit, sometimes just for a few days. I think they pass through spring and fall on their migrations.
