Grey bird

I just saw a bird that I have never seen before.


I'm in the mountains of Virginia, USA

This bird is medium grey with a light grey chest.
It is about the size of a dove
His beak has a yellow tint
He has a black strip going across his upper chest near his neck and looks like a small white one directly under the black one.
He was pecking in the grass in the back yard.
