Great Blue heron

Majestic

Here's a beautiful Great Blue Heron we spotted while
boating on our favorite lake, on a may weekend a few weeks ago, I took a whole sequence, from flying to fishing (Catching and swallowing its catch) to drinking water, so it it very hard to pick which picture to post.

No have not seen the nest, and have not seen female either, Are they not white ---the females???

No, the female Great Blue Heron looks very similar to the male.
