my cousin found this baby, she took his pic and put him back where he was. Anyone know what kind of bird it is?

A HUGE congratulations to your cousin for putting the little one back so it can live a long healthy life, that is a big deal! Not only is it detrimental for the life and health of the bird but it is illegal & there is a very stiff fine for keeping wildlife.

I live out in Troutdale and I have Eastern Kingbirds but they pretty much stay out here close to the Sandy Delta nesting site. It is difficult to see the beak on your bird but depending on the beak it could also possibly be a violet-green swallow. The head shape and the placement of the eyes look like the swallow.
