Found this bird on the street in NYC, bleeding from its beak. It looks like it could do with help, and I am unable to do anything since I am unable to identify it correctly.


I don't know anything about this bird ... tried looking at photos elsewhere online and, to my untrained eyes, this looks like some sort of a sandpiper/dunlin or some such bird. I would love it if someone could help by correctly identifying it.

Poor thing. If possible, please try to get this bird to a Bird Rehabilitation Center.
