We found this bird and rescued it from our cat and trying to figure out what it is

It’s a mammal that has hollow bones and aero dynamic arms/appendages with feathers that allow it to defy gravity (fly). They are common to all parts of the world. They lay eggs instead of giving live birth. most species build nest in trees or around any man made structure. I hope this helps..
