Florida bird at EPCOT

This bird is very common around EPCOT in orlando florida.

Help me identify it. Basic brown with some black in the coloring. Dagger beak, but not a sandpiper

I have 5 of those same birds on my front door(Orange Park,FL)something happened to the mom, I don't know what, I dont even know what to feed them, they're babies...help?
