First time to see Rose Breasted Grosbeak

by Marlyn
(Bushnell, Florida)

25 April 2012, Upon seeing an unfamiliar bird in our feeder, I went searching for identification. It was the Rose Breasted Grosbeak. We've had feeders at this location, near Bushnel, Florida, for 11 years and this is a first for seeing this bird. The seeds are a mix and include black oil sunflower seeds. Apparently the bird is in migration.
