4 Pileated Woodpeckers

by Fred
(Ohio)

Today I watched 4 pileated wood peckers visit my hanging suet feeder. It holds 2 cakes and is made of recycled plastic designed for them. two of them hung on at the same time. The other 2 sat above on the tree watching and making a loud noise. They come several times each day but not all at once like today. They are so beautiful and something to see up close. It makes my day when I get to see these awesome birds. I like to watch the parent feed the baby. They are so beautiful.
