European Starling

I submitted pictures asking if the bird was a starling the other day. They are building a nest in gutter of my house. They are plucking the flowers off from my plants and the squash blossoms as well! For the nest!!! Is there nothing I can do?? Help Susan!

I'd like to give that Englishman who brought starlings to this continent a piece of my mind!
Starlings build nests inside our patio eaves, which my husband removes immediately, even before they are finished, which seems to help discourage these pesty birds. Another suggestion is to remove your feeders for a week, in the hope theses birds will leave for greener pastures. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Starling nest

Thanks for the advise Susan. I will be getting the ladder out this morning to remove the nest. I could never remove my feeders as I would miss all my other visitors so much.
