We saw a huge flock of grackles in our backyard (central Mass) a few brown headed cow birds thrown in. there were several birds with white stripes across their wings. at first, i thought they were red-winged black birds but the stripe was clearly white. no pics, i used my binoculars.

Can't find a bird with a white stripe in my bird book. Maybe an immature bird?

there were prob 200 birds. so neat!!! Could hear the ever-present "glug glug gleeeeee" call. Which bird does that?
