Eagles and Vultures and Herons! Oh my!

Last week-end we visited the San Juan Islands in the Juan de Fuca Sound south of British Columbia. We saw a lot on wildlife. In particular, we saw Bald Eagles and Turkey Vultures sitting together on a pebbled beach below us. A restaurant on the cliff had just thrown fish leftovers down on the beach for them. So we had quite an aerial acrobatic show as both the eagles and vultures competed for the scraps. Of yes and there were a few Blue Herons thrown into the mix. So here are a few photos that I took of them.
