Dining Mourning Doves

by Rebecca Gurney
(Garner, NC, USA)

Last year I seem to have had more doves than this, but am still blessed with their visits to my yard. They like eating from the ground up and down my graveled driveway. I scatter cracked corn and black oil sunflower seed out for them. I love to hear them coo and see them waddle around. They also visit my birdbath taking a drink and even have had the pleasure of watching them taking a quick bath. I have never seen a nest or their babies, hope to one day!
