I live in Southern Utah and have glass hummingbird feeders with plastic parts. I do see some beautiful feeders with metal parts but feel the hot sun would heat them to the point of injuring a hummers tongue or other body part. Should I be concerned about using metal when temps here ( I have little shade) reach 110 in July and is in the low 100's most of the summer.
