We have old birdhouses in yard that are occupied and we want to replace them. When is it the best time to do so and will the birds have time to replace nesting?C

Good Question NEW
by: Margaret Mariam

I was going to clean out my birdhouses, but we had 2 weeks of warm temps and the birds immediately started laying eggs on the old leaves/twigs. I was told to wait until the fledglings leave and then clean them out. But the way my birds were reproducing last year, we may not be able to clean out until fall.

Looking forward to seeing the advice you get!
