These birds are around all winter and I have no idea what they are called. We are in Central Ontario. I have always called them cow birds, but I believe that is wrong

def.STARLINGS @ 1 time scourge of cities in UK messing every where.But when going 2 roost out in countryside Fab 2 watch as they fly in large flocks & wheel & swirlin air creating fantastic pattens.Nice pic ATB El Diablo from sunny Spain ADIOS

They are common Starlings! They can be agresssive at the bird feeder.

    Small dusky or dark gray bird, 3 to 4 inches, with a fan shaped tail. The tail had 2 yellow triangle markings, which were about 3/4 to 1 inch each.
